How'd the meeting/interview go about becoming a flight attendant?  Are you going to pursue it?

Thanks for asking......Well for many reasons I didn't go......One being I chickened out and the other my hubby wasn't supportive......I actually got all ready drove about 2 miles and turned around and went back home.......I guess my self confidence isn't as good as I thought and my relationship with my hubby is way more important to me than anything.......

In August there is another meeting, so maybe by then my confidence will be better and my hubby maybe supportive. I was very bummed, with myself and my hubby..........

He's so used to me being home.....I've been a stay at home Mom for 5 years...I said once Marek went to Kindergarten I'd want to get another job........So maybe I'll take it a little slower and get more of a PT job and slide into a FT job, then maybe go for the flight attendant job......I'm going to go apply today for a hostess job. Or Wright County is hiring a Civilian Corrections officer for $14-$18 an hour, you have to pass a written & oral test. We'll see on that one....

Hi Kelly.....when the time is right and it is the right position it will happen. Kind of like going through all the hoops with WLS. When the time was right it happened.

Don't be too hard on yourself for not going through with it.  Maybe it just wasn't the right time.  Keep your chin up and pray for guidance.  It will come to you.

Yep, I just took it easy today.....I prayed for God to show me a sign of what to do..........I so badly want to get a job, it's just I'm so limited on what, since I have no degree.......I don't have to work, my hubby makes a good living, but I want to do something I enjoy, I don't want one of the jobs where you hate going to it every morning ya know? Tomorrow I plan on going to apply for a hostess job, I didn't get there today, hubby came home early with a straines neck and muscle relaxers from the Doctor, So I've been taking care of him.

Kelly~I hope you are able to find something that will make you happy.  I know my Mom had to do something similar when she went back to work after all of us kids were finally in school.  I hope you DH becomes more supportive of you as you pursue this next step in life.  Love & hugs! Nicole

I'm going to take it slower and not just dive in.....My hubby is wonderful, he's just used to me being here for him, etc. I kinda spoil him and he knows it.....I think to let me spread my wings is harder on him.....I'm sure if I take it slow and start off with PT work and work up to a FT job he will get more used to the idea.......
