update

Hi guys just an update on the fraud and crap she tried to cash the checks she wrote her name above what I wrote.   My cousin called from SD and there was a girl there who got arrested for doing the same thing.  I reported her also on ripoff.com.  We got our new account all set up and everything seems to be getting back to normal.  I am having a garage sale on friday and then me and hubby are going to the casino for the POISON concert WOOOOHOOOOO  can't wait.  I Have been having some pain where my new tummy is.  I think I  pulled something when I was scrubbin floors on my hands and knees.  It was really bad for awhile but now is getting better.  I hope all of you have a great week.......  Take care  Hugs Marsh

I had a "fraud" incident in my life, many years ago.  It haunted me for a couple of YEARS!  Hopefully you got on top of your situation before it could cause you recurring troubles. 

My situation was out of my hands before I knew it - I had opened a new checking account when I started working for the Park District in '89, and was waiting on my new checks to arrive in the mail.  They never did.  So I called my bank after about two and a half weeks of waiting, and they told me "Well you MUST have received them, because your checks have already started to clear your account!"   I won't bore you or aggravate myself with all the details, but it was a pain in my arse, to be sure!!!   (I had a GREAT time explaining to the manager at Pinstripe Petites that I had never set foot in her store, much less BOUGHT anything there!!!   )

Marsha~I am so glad you were proactive and got everything taken care of before she could really mess up your accounts/credit.  I hope they are able to catch her and charge her that is ridiculous.  Take it easy and let what ever you pulled heal.  I think sometimes we get a little over ambitous with our new found energy and then end up hurting ourselves (I am guilty of this too).  I hope you and hubby have fun at the concert on Friday.  Love & Hugs!  Nicole

Wow what a nightmare but it seems you got everything taken care of before it got too far out of control!  Whew!

Have fun at the concert.  That would definitely bring back some high school memories for me.  I loved them!

Glad you got things taken care of.  She cashed the check -- so believe it or not, that is a good sign.  It wasn't duplicated for other checks.  And to write her own name.....apparently not a smart one either!!!

It's hard when you are a trusting person to believe there are evil people out there -- but there are and unfortunately you have to watch for them ALL the time.
