So... have you ever forgot to eat?

I woke up late this morning, so had a cup of coffee before going to coffee... figured I would eat when I got home, before I went to work... then Gorden calls... so there goes that idea, well, I will just eat after work.. get home from work... and tired and cold, so lay down for a nap and to warm up.... will eat when I get back up... 3 hours later.. phone rings... it's Gorden, talk to him.. get up.... puts around the house and on here... oh have to look at renniasance clothes... come on line... decide I wanted iced coffee, walked next door to my work... remembered.. oh still haven't ate....get back home, go back on line.....11:36 at night... wow.. I still haven't ate... now boiling water for some macaroni and tomato's.. wierd.

Diane~I didn't eat much today either.  I had breakfast this moring before going to coffee, but then didn't eat until 2:30 and then didn't eat again until I got home at 11:00 pm!  Sounds like the only thing that kept you going is the coffee!  Glad you are eating something now!

Some days it is like I can't stop grazing,,, and then like today... oh ya, I am supposed to eat... Did you barbque go well?

Yup! it was a great day, I ended up staying until 9:30.  More details in new post!

I have forgotten to eat - but can't say all day.  But that definitely is one of the things for me too with this surgery...it'll be lunch and I'll realized I haven't ate.  I just don't have the sensation of hunger like before.  I know that feeling like I need to eat, but it's not that same icky stomach growling (yelling, screaming begging) tummy feeling I had pre-op.

I hadn't ate since about 6pm and now 6 hours later I'm still up so I am making a hard boiled egg and decided to check things out on here. 

What is tomatoes and noodles?

I do agree.... the stomach hunger is not the same... way different... however, the head hunger.. can still get me from time to time.

Hey Diane!  Yep, around  nine months out,  I, too, often had forgotten to eat (didn't regain appetite 'til around fifteen months out).  Ironic, as prior to surgery, I'd forgotten to STOP eating!?!!  Hey, don't know what the heck I did, but actually got my computer up and running all by myself last night!  Murphy's law here:  am getting the new one shipped sometime this week, though am thrilled to pieces to be back online--will post new once I get all caught up on the boards from the past week or so!  Haven't seen any Gorden updates--check out my new post, and hope to see 'ya Thursday night at Santorini's Tavern/Grill (with awesome live band Power of 10 ) in St Louis Park!
