The Storm
Hope everyone is ok after the storm yesterday. I was in the dentist chair when it hit and almost didn't make it home afterwards. There was so much tree and trash in the roads in our neighborhood. Two of the trash companies had come before the storm Waste Management had not, so there was trash and glass everywhere. Lots of lawn furniture and tons of trees down. It looked like a war zone, yet the next street over to the north was untouched. The neighbors behind me to the west had their back yard cleared of everything, yet the next one right behind me (next to him) had everything on his deck just the way he left it. Several homes have damage from falling trees, we are in an old neighborhood that used to be forest so the trees are huge!
Blessed are those who can give without remembering
