Friday Coffee Talk
WOO HOO!!! It is Friday! Good morning everyone! Gotta rise and shine. The weekend is almost here. Got big plans for it? I'm planning on working on my bathroom we are re-doing, then I also have to prepare a sermon for Sunday night. Just hanging around the house here. Next week, we will be getting ready to head to Minnesota. Torey and Allison are excited about meeting their new Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. ALSO! I can't wait for them to meet some of you! Anyone wanna meet for coffee at Mall of America one of the days we are there? Lucy and I plan to take them while we are there. I think they will be overcome with culture shock. LOL LOL I can't wait to see their "bama baby" eyes light up! HEHEHEEHE Myself, I can't wait to see some of YOU again too. Most of all, I GET TO SEE MY SWEETHEART, Lucy!!
Our challenge for this Friday is to take time to play. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Remember as a child when your parents would tell you to "GO PLAY"!? I challenge you today to find something to do that you can relax and enjoy. It may have to be after you get off work, but you can find something. Get your mind off work, your daily cares, your bills, anything. Just go out and play. I remember as a child going outside and running, climbing trees, playing with my matchbox cars, other cars and making dirt roads with a brick (LOL) playing with my friends, swinging off a rope in the river, JUST PLAYING and not having a care in the world. Let's find something to take our mind off the daily life. We CAN do this! I dare ya!
So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm enjoying some awesome Deep Blue Blueberry Boca Java coffee. You wanna talk about some good coffee? OMGOSH! THIS STUFF IS SOOOOOOO GOOD!! I think I have a new favorite coffee!! LOL I sure wish you were here to sip a cup with me. We would go out on the swing, enjoy our coffee and talk a while.
Ya'll have a WONDERFUL Friday and GO PLAY!
For every Goliath, there is a Stone! His name is Jesus!"

OMG - my heart just did a little flip-flop at the thought of your kids having new Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. How COOL is that??? And taking them to MOA??? Culture shock is RIGHT!!! I wish I could join ya... We're heading to the Wisconsin Dells from the 19th to the 25th - I hope I can squeeze in a cup and a hug while you're here!
As for PLAYING? Oh my, I do love to play! This weekend while camping, I plan to spend some quality time with my friend, Tire Swing. I absolutely LOVE tire swings! The spinny kind - we have a couple of them in the play area here at Baker. I need to spend more lunch breaks on 'em, but ya know, sometimes the actual CHILDREN at the park look at me funny when I regress like that... Maybe they're just not used to seeing "old ladies" having fun in that particular manner?

Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
Good Morning Randall!!
I will be playing alot today. My daughter and grandchildren will be here soon. Nic and I have fun but little Grace is really fun. She is only 1 &1/2 years old and a little firecracker. I will be playing until I drop!!
Hope to see you and Lucy again when you get to MN. The MOA would be a good place to meet.
Hugs, connie d
