Update on Gloria - OH Minnesota is the BEST!!

Hi Edi!    I have to tell you Gloria was just thrilled with all the cards and e-greetings from you & your friends after her surgery.  What a kindness on your part!  She is making a memory book and intends to include photos, cards, everything that is part of her journey.  The words of encouragement and humor were just what the doctor ordered. Your friends were just super in their response, and the comments in their cards were to the point, funny and encouraging!   She is doing soooo well, staying positive, moving, and laughing a lot. She is not missing food intake and is ready to enjoy some weight loss. She has her first Dr. appointment today as her follow-up with her local MD.   Otherwise, I am still stymied at the little support the Marshfield program offers after the fact?  I am so thankful you provided her with such a lift.  You rock and roll girl!   Thanks Edi for being such a great support when Gloria needed it most!  She is so thankful to be in touch with others who have gone through the procedure.  And, she was blown away by your beautiful photo in the e-mail greetings...the guys should be lining up for you as you are a beautiful person, inside and out.

Gloria is just a sweetheart of a gal!  Always smiling, always welcoming.  She would fit in so well with our group.  If I told her I was bringing a couple 100 of my OH friends, she'd open her house to us all.  The door is always open, literally, and the coffee is always on.

Coffee???  So when are we going???    Always room for another loser!!!

How did I miss this update?   Thanks for steering me to this!  So glad she is doing well and appreciated the cards, words and encouragement.   What an amazing friend you are to her to get this ball bouncing for her!
