1 year Surgiversary!

I sent this email out to my friends, family & co-workers today and wanted to share with you guys and gals as well. This is meant for you as much or more than them as you have encouraged, supported and butt-kicked as needed, and I really do appreciate it!

I had surgery. At this point I have lost 131 lbs and am about 28 lbs from my weight goal. Much of that couldn't have been done without all of you!

What a wonderful, wild, wacky ride this has been so far.

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your support during this time. I have been amazed at all the changes in me - not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, etc. as well. You, as my friends and co-workers, have stood by there for me, and I really appreciate it.

I wanted to say more, but don't have the words for it (yep, that's right, I'm kinda speechless). I guess a big thank you is all I can say, so....

THANK YOU!

I know - it doesn't seem like it should be a year already, yet it seems like ages ago since I had surgery...funny how time can flex like that. Thank you for your support (I feel like the Bartels & James wine cooler guys) 8 )
