A lovely night in the ER.....

UGH! I left a gathering with some friends early to get home and go to bed because I felt lousy. I slept for about two hours and was awakened by pain in my left side. UGH, I couldn't get comfortable and started feeling nauseous and had a bad headache. I walked around the house for a bit and the pain got worse. I don't have much love for the ER, so really didn't want to go, but knew there was something wrong. That was fun, trying to figure out how to get to the hospital when I was alone with the boys. Thankfully, my MIL and a friend of mine came over at 1am. My MIL stayed at the house and my friend drove me to the hospital. Ended up having a double kidney infection, lucky me. They gave me fluids and IV antibiotics and sent me home with more antibiotics. UGH, what a night!

I am sorry to hear that you spent your night in the ER I can totally relate to you lack of love for the ER. Happy healing, hopefully you can get some help with the boys while you recouperate and the antibiotics kick in.

Good thing you got there, hon - you don't want to mess with a kidney infection! Here's to your rapid healing and the boys being extra gentle with you! (Is that possible???)
