OT scamming
We had that happen here close to two yrs ago. We had just bought our place and like a month or so later they/he showed up. I always listen to what people have to say (door to door) and act interrested til the end. Then this sap tells me it is for college yadda yadda and whoever sells the most gets to go blah blah blah.. Lucky for me my SO always comes out to the door just in time to send them away with no sale LOL. Then last yr a gal shows up and SO answered the door and he said to her " I am not interrested in whatever you are going to sell" She says "Oh the last thing I would do is try and sell you anything" So, He listens and listens and listens.. and wham she trys to sell him something! he says "you said you would not sell me anything" to which she responds....are you ready for this?? she says..... NO, I SIAD..the LAST thing I would do is try and sell you something..OMG! the twist of words. she should of been a car sales person. Anyways he (my SO) says no thanks..you have wasted 5 minutes of my time and yours and shut the door in her face.
We had not had anyone back after that..until this week! We got some young maybe college age student her trying to sell some stain remover. We sent him on his way. So that is a new scam to" beware of the stain remover "LOL well at least here in ND, but rumor has it he is heading your way

Sorry this happened to you Marsha. You are just too sweet and kind. I think it is horrible what people think of to do to others.
I absolutley will not buy anything from anyone I do not personally know. Life isn't like it used to be!! Sad that the world has come to this!
