Well, Monday is over and only 4 more days to go...sad that I am counting down already.  I am hoping that it is not quite so humid today so that I can possibley open my windows and turn off the a/c.  Any ways here goes.   Today I will...get in at least 100 ounces of fluid (CL or water), run 3.25 miles pushing to make it 9 or 10 minutes without walking, keep the carb monster under control, do the dishes, and get to bed by 11:00 pm.  Yesterday I...get in at least 100 ounces of water if not more due to the heat--yup I got in around 120 ounces which is good since I sweat alot on my run yesterday, make wise food choices and eat only when really and truely hungry--did really good on this until last night, then didn't do so well, exercise (depending on the weather tonight either a run or sculpt video)--I did both!  My run I did 3.25 miles in 34 minutes running for 31 minutes and walking for 3 minutes, stay awake and focused at work today--yup thank goodness for CL Focus, and get to bed by or before 11:30 pm--nope I didn't get to bed until a little after midnight as I was too wound up after talking with Musa.

Yummy, homemade salsa!  My mom usually makes a couple of batches each fall, but I am not sure what will happen this year as their garden got flooded the end of May/beginning of June.  It is amazing what our bodies will do when we feed it right!  I hope you have a nice day and enjoy playing in your garden!

Another beautiful day!!  Slight breeze and sunny!  Will be nice out walking again!

Roger is off getting 4 of our rescue dogs fixed this morning - the house was nice and quiet and I SLEPT!!!  Finally got more than 4 hours of sleep.  Damn it felt good too!  Work was good and I"m looking forward to seeing more folks tonight.  It's also good as I can't snack at night now and because of that, in part, I lost another 2lbs  :)  I can deal with that!

Need to get off my duff though and get the dog area cleaned up so they have a good area to recup in  :)  Then we should get them adopted out and have only the CA dogs to deal with!!  YIPPIE!  Then I'm taking a break... time to love up my OWN dogs for a while.  lol
Today I WILL! - drink liquids     *20oz coffee
    *20oz coffee - eat right and track my intake     *2 pieces of sweet and sour chicken
    *1/3C Chicken subgum - vitamins     AM: check
    PM: - exercise
Steps:     Mon - 14119     Tues -     Wed -     Thurs -     Fri -     Sat -     Sun - Yesterday I: - drink my liquids        I need to drink more water and CL and ease off the coffee....     * 20oz coffee
    * 20 oz coffee
    * 18oz CL     * 20oz coffee     * 18oz CL     * 20oz CL     * 10oz coffee - eat right and track my intake        I did not eat right.  I didn't eat enough but it's going to take a few days for me to get back into the swing again.     * 2 slices american cheese     * Atkin's advantage bar     * crackers with butter     * 1oz cheese     * 2 oz mixed nuts - walk     I walked and it was nice  :)  Made almost 2 miles but then my leg started to bother me so turned around and came home.  I walk 1/2 mile one way and come back towards home and then 1/2 mile the other way making up a 2 mile walk that I'm never more than 1/2 mile away form home.  I can usually make it that far without falling  :)  As my stamina works up, I"ll stretch those out or make more legs  :)  I need to talk to the neurologist and see how he wants me to build up... will also stop in and chatter with my PT's  I know they are anxious to see how I"m doing anyways! - smile as I go back to work and try not to rub it in their faces too much  lol     I was a good girl  :)  It's nice going back and so many folks saying how good it is to have me back!  My truck drivers were all smiles.  One of the guys has his birthday today and he said I was his best gift  lol  That was a self confidence booster  :)

Lori~Glad to hear that your first night back to work went well!  The not being able to snack at night sounds like a good thing, now if only I could find something to keep me out of the cupboards/fridge/freezer after dinner LOL!  I think your approach to walking is very smart, do you mind if I ask what is wrong with your leg, I don't remember hearing/reading about it.  If it is the caffiene you are craving from the coffee a good substitute is CL Focus-Natural Citrus, they also have a strawberry but I find that too sweet, it has a bit of caffiene and then B-vitamins to help boost your energy I love it and am now hooked on it.  From looking at your food plan and your schedule at work I would maybe try getting in a bit more food at home before you go into work plus that is the time your body is used to having food and so it will use it more efficiently and you will have fuel for the the night.  I hope you have a nice relaxing day at home and another good night back at work.  Love & Hugs! Nicole

ok, my leg  :)  actually pretty much my whole left side. My dad died a few years back from PSP - a progressive neurological disease.  I started to exhibit many of the same symptoms that he had so went to the doc and they did an MRI... I don't have the disease but I do have cervical stynosis...  meaning that my vertibrae are closing in around my spinal cord and in my case have pinched it off bad enough that even after surgery I have a significant scar around the cord.  This has screwed up the nerves to my left side - I primarily see it in my leg.  When I get tired or way over stressed it seems (which I've had tons of both lately) my left side goes numb...  actually more like someone straps about an inch of foam around that side... so not totally numb but not all there either!  It's a weird feeling  :( It gets to the point that I can't pick my foot up to walk properly and end up catching my toe or just dragging my foot.  This is what happened on Saturday.  I caught my toe and pitched forward and fell.  It's happened that way - going up and down stairs...  sitting and standing up and having no feeling...  *sigh*  It's something I have to learn to live with I guess.  But it's keeping me from progressing in the things I want to do. I visualize myself running and find myself smiling about it... but am scared to death of trying.  I think of jumping rope... of swimming...  dancing.  All those things that I used to love to do. I'll be calling the doc again about it.  There are too many things I want to do!! So there you have it  :) I'll also look for the CL!  sounds like a good thing!!! *hugs*

I am glad that you are going back to the doctor, hopefully they can find some way to ease this and let you do all that you want to do.  Keep those dreams alive, with the way medicine is progressing one day you may be running right next to me!  Love & hugs! Nicole
