Foamies?

What are foamies and how do you get them?  I think I had them last night, I had gone to dinner with some friends and after eating 2 bites of chicken I felt really sick.  I went to the bathroom and  so I left and continued to  the whole way home.  Unfortunately I was in Hopkins and had to drive to Farmington.....not a pretty sight  and BTW, it's not easy to drive and throw up at the same time.  It seemed like the "product" was quite foamy indeed and I'm curious as to what causes this. Kind of sounds like it to me... so far I've been lucky, only had one thing cause that.....one itty bitty pancake from IHOP.....and that was last fall.....and I have not touched a pancake since.....That was absolutely the sickest I had gotten off of any food. AND I LOVE PANCAKES!!!! and have not been brave enough to try again.... this was a pancake with SF syrup......and very little of that......

I am not short... I am fun sized!!

I had that often in my first couple months after surgery.  It was more like spitting for me rather than My mouth comtinued to fill with water and I would have to spit over and over for over an hour.  The good news is, I don't experience that anymore.   I'm sure we learn what works for us and what doesn't.  Most people seem to be able to eat chicken......I am one who struggled with that in the first two months.  NOw I do a bit better with certain types of chicken.     I always loved when it happened cause I knew pouch was working.  Now I KNOW it works without that reminder........I did get sick of those foamies.

I don't know what causes it, for me it seems to be eating too fast or not chewing enough. Fotunately it has only happened a few times and throwing up, while a pain, sure made it better. Seems like there is no hard and fast rule to avoid it, everyone has different things that create it.

I got them a few times from eating too much, too fast, and from eating meat that is dry.  Meat has to be very tender and moist, so leftovers are usually out of the question, even now.
