Does anyone know someone who is a flight attendant? I would like to talk to someone and get tips on how to impress and get this job. I'm considering this........I googled it today and there is no schooling required.......There was a meeting today in Eagan, how ironic is that? It was this morning and I didn't google it till this afternoon. The next meeting is the end of August. I'm really getting excited....... I hope there is someone out there that can help me........ Thanks, Kelly

Sure!   I have a dear friend from my college days who's been a flight attendant for Northwest for nearly 20 years!  And he'll give you whatever information you want (along with some you might not!) - let me just get in touch with him and figure out how to put him in touch with you!

Hi Kelly! I saw an ad in the paper for I believe NWA and they had an informational meeting this evening in Bloomington. There was another date posted as well but am unsure of it. If we get our laptop back tonight I will try and get on to send you the information. At my old place they housed NWA flight attendants in training. The training is six weeks (six days a week). When they first started being housed there I had talked with a couple of the women, was very interested and had gotten myself half way through the process. I ended up getting my current job and knew that six weeks training would be impossible to take on since i wanted to keep my full-time job. I would love to be a part-time flight attendant but it's just the time it takes to get trained that's the kicker. They did inform me that the training is pretty intense. I think you should definitely check it out though, check websites for local airlines. The pay isn't the best unless you do International travel, but the job would be fun and the perks are priceless.

Kelly - Below is a link to an ad I saw that would get you in sooner then August. It is for Mesaba Airlines (NWA), not sure what airline you were looking into. I bet you wouldn't have to impress them at all. If you go in there smiling with a positive attitude, I bet they would want you in a heart beat.
