Update on Gloria
First, thank you to all who sent Gloria cards, she was sooooo surprised by the outpour of your support! Here's a little update from my cousin, who is her bestest friend...
Hi Everyone ~
Just returned from picking up Gloria in Marshfield. She is doing fine, quite sore as she had to have the open as opposed to laparoscopic surgery. She has quite the incision....lots of staples, looks like a mighty fine zipper. Her sister Joyce is here from Milwaukee to stay a few days and that is a great idea! Operation went just fine, and she's already on her food plan. She is very positive, only used the "rat #$%&^&$*$" comment once at the hospital yesterday, in reference to pain I believe. (chuckle) So, she is on her way!
