It's funny how "by comparison" works

At one point... I weighed 250lbs. I held that weight for 5 years or more. I dreaded the weight and hated the way I felt. Well, this past year, I gained another 50lbs, and went up to a high of 304.4lbs.  Now, I am slowly making my way down...at 262.8lbs right now... and I feel fantastic. It's funny how  "by comparison" works. 262 compared to 304 is fantastic. I feel so light, I like (more so) how my body looks and my face looks... It's funny how that works.  I guess it's normal to not be happy with what you have... but this time around, I am very, very grateful.

2019: 11 years out and maintaining a loss of 150lbs.

Fitness is not about age or a size -- it's really about an attitude and life style!!!
Life is not measured by the number of breathes we take, but by the moments that take our breathe away~~

Well Elena, I think you know just what a remarkable young woman I think you are.  That you can SEE the changes - the IMPROVEMENTS  - in your appearance already is just proof that you really have a solid head on your shoulders!   Most of us have a hard time seeing the change.  I think it's GREAT that you can!  Awesome way to stay motivated to keep working your band!  Not that you seem to be lacking in motivation, either -  YAY YOU!!!!
