Monday 7/7 Today I will...
GOOD MORNING!!!
It's a beautiful day... Roger is at his mothers for the day and outta my hair LOL - the dogs are currently quiet and I'm doing ok!
The weekend was a mess - I ate off plan - tried to walk and went too far and fell and hit my head, jammed a couple of fingers and messed up my knee and shoulder... saved the camera though!! lol Roger and I walked the Lakewalk from the Rose garden to Canal Park... only about 1.5 miles one way or so... I've been walking 1-2 miles a day with my legs getting pretty tired at 2 miles... well at that 2.5 mile mark my left side gave out and down I went... of course right in front of Sir Ben's where everyone is out on the patio... *sigh* Life is good though and I"m not dead :)
Other than that we tried to take the boat out yesterday - got it in the lake fine (this is our first time taking the boat out since we bought it) - drifted out so that we could drop the motor and BOOM... nothing.... It starts ok but won't even idle. Come to find out that Rog didn't check any of the filters or anything. We got towed back to shore and limped our way home... I hope to get out fishing before I grow old and gray... lol

* 18oz CL * 20oz coffee * 18oz CL * 20oz CL * 10oz coffee - eat right and track my intake * 2 slices american cheese * Atkin's advantage bar * crackers with butter * 1oz cheese * 2 oz mixed nuts - walk - smile as I go back to work and try not to rub it in their faces too much lol Steps: Mon - Tues - Wed - Thurs - Fri - Sat - Sun -

I like long weekends but they screw up my routine, back on track today.....Going to go for a bike ride now. I'm taking care of a neighbors kitty's while she's gone.....

Bah :) 130lbs ago I wouldn't have gotten up! I'm fine... I think I actually hurt my pride worse than anything. I hate making an ass of myself in front of folks... But got right back on the walking shoes and did my almost 2 miles this morning :)
Yeah... fresh fish :) When I had my son oh those 27 years ago I used to feed him fresh fish every lunch... He would nap and I"d take my pole out on the dock and catch a couple of crappies, bring them in and boil them up. Maybe that's why he's so darn healthy :) It was great and I really miss that!
Yes my hero! All you wonderful folks who put yourselves out there and PLAY and HAVE FUN and just ENJOY LIFE! and you are doing all of those things :)

Lori~I hope you are doing okay and that you rest and let yourself heal, perhaps just some light exercise for the next few days. I cannot believe that Roger forgot to check the filters! Hopefully you can get out on the lake before the end of summer! Congrats on your return to work, I hope you have a good first day back! I too fell off the path this weekend food-wise, but today is a new day and we get to start all over again! I went grocery shopping last night so I made sure to have good food choices on hand so I am less likely to eat crap (the problem at my sisters was lack of good choices). Have a great Monday and remember to take it easy and enjoy the peace & quiet while you've got it!

LOL nah... I"m right back to walking. I was a bit dizzy but not that bad off - Like I mentioned to Kelly, I think my pride is hurt worse than anything. thanks for the concern though!
I'm kind of looking forward to work. I've very much enjoyed being off but not enjoyed the lack of money. My savings is just about totally depleted now and Roger still isn't working. He doesn't see a need now that I'm going back ARGH!!
I'm off to see what I can come up with to take to work tonight so in case I have to cook, I"ll have time to do that!!

I can not believe that Roger thinks he doesn't have to work just because you are going back, that would annoy the dickens out of me. Gald to hear all is well and you are back in the walking shoes and feeling good. Good idea planning ahead of time for you dinner it always helps to have something good to eat instead of having to search for something that will make do.

Trust me girlfriend, it does... Getting pretty sick of all of it.
Anyhow, now my meals will be thrown all over again! I'll be eating first around 10-12 then something about 4pm on my way to work... maybe a shake to drink on the way... I'll have some nuts or something at about 6-630pm and then my first actual break is at 830pm... my lunch is at 11pm. lol it's the schedule from hell as far as food goes. It makes it really hard to create a meal plan.
I'm thinking today
11am - protein bar
4pm - protein shake blended with extra protein and ice
630 - 2oz mixed nuts with raisins
830 - fruit with cheese stick
11pm - protein bar or jerky or meat wrap
I really need to get a good lunch bag so I can keep things cold.
Off to do laundry!
