TIME for a little CAMPING ~

Hey Dayner Dee, I'd be there in a heart beat, though this weekend is my church's family weekend up by Remer at a family's mansion-cabin which sleeps forty!  They've got three speed boats, a huge pontoon, four jet skiis, a Waverunner, and will be a BLAST!  Now how could I pass that up for camping?!  Know you'll all have your own blast, so enjoy!  So far the extended weather looks very favorable for next weekend--hope it doesn't change!  Have a wonderful week sweetie!  Hugs galore, Patti

Hey Dana, I plan to bring chicken breasts and salad for Friday's meal. I also have a couple of bags of firewood to bring.  I also have a fair share of plates, napkins and plastic ware I can add to the mix.  Not sure what else we'll need.  Hopefully all those that are going will post what they are planning for meals Here's what it looks like so far: Friday Dinner: Chicken Breasts & Salad (Tracy) Saturday Breakfast: Omelets in a bag (Sherri) Saturday Lunch: OPEN Saturday Dinner: OPEN Sunday Breakfast: OPEN Can't wait to see everyone and have a relaxing weekend.

Hey Ms Thang: We have TONS of paper products and plastic wear in the camper so between you and I we should have things covered as far as that goes.  I also will be happy to supply coffee...coffee...coffee...!!  Currently we have folgers in the camper with lots of Splenda creamers..  Mocha, french vanilla & cinnamon.  I also will have SF French Vanilla Coffeemate and 1/2 & 1/2.... ALSO...  I do have a thought on Saturday meals... If we eat breakfast later and dinner earlier we can forgo lunch..   We have been doing this ourselves when we camp and it seems to work out great.  It was feeling like all we were doing was eating..  Its only a thought...  Again...  we will be bringing cut up fruit that can accompany all meals if desired.  ALSO...  We will make a big ole batch of campfire taters for Saturday Dinner and ALSO a big ole slab of beef if nobody offers. I'm packing up Thursday night and heading straight over after work Friday.  Ought to be in my campsite and putting up the tent by - oh, 4:32 on Friday?  (I work 'til 4:30  ) Friday Dinner: Chicken Breasts & Salad (Tracy) Saturday Breakfast: Omelets in a bag (Sherri) Saturday Lunch: OPEN Saturday Dinner: MEAT...? 4:32...  LOL....!!  I mentioned to the co-workers this morning that I may scoot earlier on Friday so I could be their by 4ish..  we will see... 

Are the kids and Rich not coming?

The kids are coming for sure - Rich?  not sure.  He'd like to, but he's thinking it'll be too hot for him to sleep in the tent.  He likes to be CHILLY at night!  But he'll probably at LEAST come down to deliver whatever I can't fit in my car, like the bikes, etc...  Hazel?  Well, she'll be there if Rich is, she'll stay home if he stays home.  Just as well, as doggies can't be down at the lake... 

Oh, never thought of that - we didn't have that option last fall - too cold.  What will I do with Alfie if we go to the lake???  I'll have to think about that.

Uhmmmm, I plan on being there for Friday night/Saturday only...have to leave Sat evening sometime...Is there going to be a place for me to pitch my tent? I hope so....I didn't make reservations based on what was posted on the other threads about this.  I can bring Kabobs and carrot/potato/onion pockets on the fire for a meal. Let me know so I can confirm with the van that I won't be on the vanpool that day.

I thought someone had mentioned that they have room..  We MAY have room on our site however we are waiting to see if Jen and the boyfriend will be coming (in their own tent)..  Lets post it and check it out..
