What do you think of the doggie diapers?    I've never used them but a friend of mine did on her male Bichon.

The little Prissy pants (female version of the belly band for the guys) work fine as well!  As long as she will keep them on.  Don't waste your money on the puppy pads that go into them though.  Check those out and you can use female sanitary pads... probably the mini pads.  Tons cheaper  :)

She uses the pee pads while we are gone but tracks it all over the floor and gets it on her.  Today I had to clean the floor and give her a bath.  I haven't tried the diaper, not sure if I want to even though I bought some.  She's fine when we are around and all night, it's just when we leave she pees.

Congrats Gwen! They're such a blessing. Our foster dog who is one has obviously lived outside his whole life and now gets to bet pottytrained. He refuses to leave the deck in the backyard unless you're out there with him. He peed and pooped on our Guest Bed the other day (very gross). Now we crate him while we're gone. We'll have to be slowly patient and also give lots of praise when they potty and poopy like they're told.

Please spay and neuter your pets!

Thanks Farrah!  She can't get on the bed by herself so we are safe there.  She will go into the grass by herself but she won't go in or out the back door by herself.  She knows the big cat lays there and watches "cat tv" (feeder & bird bath).  She has mastered the stairs, but won't always come when you call and likes to run sometimes.  So we keep her to the fenced back yard till she learns more.  She is very proud of herself when she pottys in the back yard.

Thanks, she is soooo tiny compared to my Lhasa Poo I am still getting used to her.  I've never had a dog this small.  I'll get photos soon I hope, she'll look better in a few months when we get her coat in shape.
