Hello everyone!  I can't believe that it has been 8 weeks since my surgery.  Wow, does time fly by fast.  It has been a rollercoaster for me.  Lots of ups and downs.  I am still having some trouble eating.  I seem to be able to eat less and less.  I had some beef jerky today and usually it sits well, but not today.  For lunch I had two club crackers with about 1/4 oz chicken salad.  I was stuffed.  And then I am not able to drink for about an hour after eating.  If I drink any sooner than that, I throw up.  Is that normal? Anyway--I am down 33 lbs in two months.  I am down 47 lbs since I started this journey in December.  It feels so good.  Thanks to all of you for your support.

WHOOO HOOOO on the weight loss baby!!!!  Way to rock the tool!!!! AND --- Welcome to the rollercoaster ride!!!!  Oh Yes!!!  Ups, downs, WTF's.  Perfectly normal on all aspects.   You can have a food one day, and the next day the same food makes you sick.  Then it's okay again.  Might have been not chewed enough this time, or something else -- different fat content this time compared to last time.  Normal..... Stuffed after eating, normal -- but this is a good thing as long as the signal had you stop before you ate too much and got sick.  Not drinking for an hour -- okay, cause the food stays with you longer.  You can make up for it later.  The PNC program doesn't let you drink for 30 minutes after eating any way.  Your tummy might just hold on longer.  Just make sure you are chewing so it isn't getting stuck and you'll get there. This is the testing the waters period.  You have another month to be fully in the game again and alot happens this next month.  Then more testing for another 3 months on the amount of food and a happy middle ground. You're doing great -- keep up the fantastic job at rocking your tool!!!!

Roller coaster sloping to the right!  hang on!  lol  It's a ride for sure!

Sounds good so far and congrats on the loss!

I had issues with chicken and tuna - they were most worst offenders as far as being able to eat them one day and not the next.  At 8 months I still get that every so often.  Make sure to take your time and chew it up GOOD!

Holy Wow, that's a lot of weight, way to go. And as the others said, the eating stuff if totally normal. I still have days that I can't tolerate something as well as I did before. But, at one year out, there is nothing other than sugar(which I don't do anyways and hardly ever miss) that I can't tolerate. My program says and hour after food to drink, but if I try and sneak it before that, yep, I can feel it. The ups and downs get fewer and farther between, and the WOOHOO's come more the farther out you go.
