No response = No date

Thanks to each of you, unfortunately, we did get a call late today and it was another denial. I cried to the point of not being able to catch my breath, but I will be okay because there is no other way to be. We'll find out on Wednesday hopefully what the basis was but if not, will need to wait for the letter in the mail. Very bummed, but very blessed to have you each as friends. TY!

Amy, So sorry to hear this news.  I know you will hang in there and fight for what you want and need.  It shouldn't be this hard to make the healthy choice but it is.  Prayers coming your way Amy.  We all love ya girl! Bonnie

Amy, I feel so badly you're going through this run around!  You SO deserve to get approved with flying colors--sheesh, with ALL the positive support and love you provide for everyone, I just can't believe this darned roadblock.  Am saying continued prayers for your patience and endurance until you get the approval and a date!  Oceans of love and hugs galore, as we all await what's 'supposed to be!'  Patti

PERSISTENCE The main game, and it is a game with insurance companies is PERSISTENCE.  Keep coming back at them. Write a personal letter.  Call BCBS yourself, ask to speak to the nurse who denied it and the medical director. Play the game. Insurance companies play the odds.  Deny everything first.  This eliminates 1/2 the people right there.  Deny a 2nd time, this eliminates another 1/4 of the people.  The fight has just begun.  Buck up, pull up your bootstraps, DIG IN.  :) Submit more paperwork.  Your forgot that you tried LA Weightloss in 2006 for 6 months and that didn't work:  Sumbit that YOURSELF.  Get BCBS's address.   Remember, this is a bunch of office nurses and office MD's sitting over in Eagan, playing the odds that you'll give up.   Most Medical directors don't even read the first submission.  PER-SIST-ENCE Will PAY OFF. Don't give up.  It's what they are hoping for.  Then they don't have to pay for it. Keep your chin up, and your dukes up! Kathy
