Feeling cute definitely helps with wanting to look nice!  I have found that I spend twice the time on getting ready to even go out to the store now than I ever did before!  Yeah, I wish I could just chop 'em off and throw them in the garbage...funny how they were the last thing to form and they will probably be the last thing to go.  Maybe I will go do some tricep exercises before bed!

Nicole...the dress is adorable!!  It looks really good on you. The sweater may be too warm for this time of year but it doesn't look bad. I definately would go with the strappy sandals with a little heel!! Wear your hair like you have it...very cute!! Have fun!! Hugs, connie d

Thanks...part of that is due to shapewear!  Gotta love it!  Depending on how I feel about my arms will depend on whether or not I wear it, also if we sit inside I may need it to combat the AC!

Nicole, What about a little 1/2 sleeve sweater. Covers the batwings, but is not as long as a full sleeve. Usually they are an open-ish weave so they leave breathing room. They are usually just under the bustline.  Karen

Karen~I actually looked at one in Target but the only white one in a size large the little hook on the top was almost falling off so I opted not to get it.  I was also planning on the sweater in case the AC is too cold for me.  I have found this summer that I am a lot more sensative to AC than before so I almost always carry a sweater/hoodie with me now.

Nicole, The dress is adorable.  I would also re-think the sweater though.  Like you, I would want something on to protect against cold AC and bat wings showing, but I think that the sweater you have is too long for the dress.  Like a previous poster mentioned, maybe a crocheted sweater with shorter sleeves that ends around the bust or at the longest at your waist.  You don't have much shopping time left, so if you can't find anything the sweater looks good, but you might want to keep looking for a different one for the future. Have a fantastic time on your date and I can't wait to hear the report.

Nicole - Cute dress!!! I agree on the sweater. Something a little shorter in the waist if you can find one, otherwise the one you have will be great and you know, guys usually don't even notice stuff like that anyway! lol... Strappy sandals will be great. Have a wonderful time!

It's cute!  Get some cute slingback sandals or ankle strap sandles to accentuate your small ankles.  As for the sweater, it's not bad and if you are cold, take it along.  New York & Co. had some short sleeve sweaters that are a shorter length that would be cute too.  I haven't been there in a couple weeks, but last time I was there they had them and I think that would be more summery. Have fun! (((hugs))) Michelle
