OT--Date Prep--New Dress
After work tonight I headed up to my favorite store in Minnetonka, The Clothe Mentor, and found a super cute J.Jill dress for $20. Then I went to Target and picked up a slip and sweater and looked for shoes, but I am still on the quest for some cute ones that will go well with the outfit. After that I went to the salon attached to the little strip mall and got my eybrows touched up and pedicure I would have gotten a manicure too, but we ran out of time! So, below is a picture of the outfit I plan to wear on my date Wednesday night sans the shoes. Tomorrow there is a trip to Payless on the itinerary and hopefully I will find something there since that is where I have gotten most of my shoes recently. I am still trying to figure out how to do my hair, but I am thinking up since I also got a pair of cute little earrings (I haven't worn any in years). Let me know what you think!
Nicole, I'm diggin' the dress. Strappy sandals are in order, though. Not too high of a heel, but something strappy to bring out the sex appeal in that dress.
Hair = leave it down. Go more for the dry look. Let it dry naturally and then use some mousse and scrunch at the ends, or twist with your fingers to define the curls. Or, if you feel you must pull it back, just do a little, like more from the center of your eyebrows vs. from the temples. And wear the earrings either way! Is the dress sleeveless? I'm not totally diggin' the sweater but only 'cuz it's summer, but we've all got our comfort zone so if this helps with that, then go for it. Handbag, what color is the handbag? You've got awesome legs, Nicole! Way to show 'em off!!! YGG! Have fun!!! I'm so excited for you.
Keep us posted.
p.s. ya, you have to weed out the thorns to find the roses.
