OT: Dating!

Well, I think I finally found the right place to post my profile...A good friend had mentioned they had posted their profile on true.com so I decided to try it out for the 1 week free membership.  Well, I posted my profile on Saturday morning and since then I have had at least 10 responses!  The best part is I am going out on a date with one of the Wednesday night!  I have not been on a date in over a year and a half!  We are meeting for coffee and I am hoping that things go well, I am sure they will because I am a whole lot more confident and secure with myself now than ever before.  Now I just have to find time to do my nails (toes and fingers), find an outfit and touch up my eyebrows! 

Good luck!  I swear by internet dating - I met my soulmate that way. :) TNT nails is very reasonable - they'll do a full set of acrylics, pedicure and eyebrow waxing for about $50.  I used to pay $20 plus tip for Simonson's Salon & Day Spa (where I get my hair done) to do my eyebrow waxing and now I only pay $8 at TNT nails and they do the best job on my eyebrows of anyone who has done them. Thanks!  I may just have to check them out!  I hope that I end up with results like yours, but who knows my belief is that I will meet my soulmate in God's time so I am not going to push or rush into anything!

Thank you!  I plan to be very careful we are meeting at a Caribou Coffee so that there will be plenty of people around and I am going to have one of my sisters call me as well.

Glad to hear things are going well.. I agree with Linda Ann... be careful.. I know you will.. keep your feet on the ground, and don't get your hopes up... just remeber, We are not who we use to be.... don't settle for anyone who isn't everything you want....

Thank you!  Yes I made sure that we are meeting in a very public place (Caribou Coffee in Eagan) and we are meeting there so I will have my own car.  I may also set up a time for one of my sisters to call just in case I need an out!  I am definitely not settling for the first person who comes along and pays attention to me, I did that once and lost 7 years of my life that I can never get back. Thanks for the support!
