I can't believe it!

I looked at the MG pics and I didn't recognize myself!  WHEN WILL the head catch up?!?!  I am in shock, at a loss for words......  I still feel like the "heavy" one in my mind.  I know I am thinner but my head still doesn't see what those pictures showed! I am having a hard time explaining this, believing it was me, ect. On the other hand....I want to thank everyone who was there! People I haven't seen in FOREVER (ahem, don't let it go this long AGAIN!) I had such an awesome time meeting some that I never have.  I even am in awe over being able to meet Teri (who I posted about her surgery 7 months ago but NEVER got to meet)!!  I just love ya all to pieces! Oh, Troy, don't forget that fruit is an essential part! LOL Barb, what can I say YOU ROCK! and last but not least my little sweet pea!  Loves ya Linda!!! THanks ALL!  HUgs!

You are so sweet -- guys that's why everyone was so excited to see you last night when you walked in.  We are DEFINITELY going to do a coffee AT LEAST once a month!!!  LA and I were just talking about the next one today!!! I enjoyed seeing a lot of the people last night too.  I haven't been to group for a while (busy season, got dates mixed up, just had surgery, etc.) so it was good to see Rose and Sherry.  I hadn't seen Amy since the Depot!!!!  damn it......  Hadn't seen Meridee since Swapkins and Kelly has been so busy she hasn't been at Burnsville coffee for a while.  And Teri ---- OMG!!!!  she looks f**** fab!!!! Glad I got to finally meet Michelle and happy Patti made it too!!!  Forgetting who all else was there......but it was a great time.

And Troy is no longer a "virgin" for our parties!!!!  Best part!!!! XXOO  Miss you already!!!! I'll give Sue a hug from you on Thursday......

Why do the good times have to end so fast?!?!  I so enjoyed everyone's company and haven't laughed that hard in such a long time!  I miss ya already too Loves and HUGS

My very close friend had gastric bypass about 3 months ago.  We are about the same height, have the same coloring and are both quite heavy.  We are often mistaken for each other and we joke that we are sisters.  I was at a meeting and sawe a woman I didn't recognize at the breakfast buffet.  As i walked behind her I said "excuse me".  Boy was I shocked to see it was my friend!  I was so stunned.  I didn't even recognize her.  I thought she'd cry when she realized what happened.  In fact, she called me a couple of times that day to ask me if I was just pretending.  I wasn't.   She's lost 70 pounds in 3 months but she says that she doesn't look any different in the mirror.  I think that is common.
