Oh Elena, so sorry about the sunburn. I swear they should require the mainlanders to apply sunscreen in front of a guard before letting them on the beach. Perhaps they could employ some of the yummy hula guys to be the guards and assist as needed? 
It looks like you are having a fantastic time and your reports are really inspiring me to make a return trip. However, when I was there, I much preferred the volcano over the beaches. I can't wait to go back and hike across the lava flows!
