I'm stuck at the airport.....uhhhhh

Hello everyone.........What a day of travel so far........We were at mpls. airport at 5:30 AM, boarded at 6:30 am. Ended up sitting on there for an hour and a half, we had engine problems.....It got fixed.....So because of this we missed our connecting flight in Houston......So were put on a later flight to Tampa at 2:00 pm., well now that flight is delayed till at least 3:30 pm. due to bad weather....uhhhhhh........I'm not liking this........ Thank god my hubby brought his lap top, I needed my OH fix....... I'll try to pop in on & off. Kelly

sorry to hear of all of your delays!!!!  I have never been on a plane or ever intend to get on one.  I can't even get on a ladder to change a light bulb I would more than likely crap myself if I had to get on a plane.  hope the rest goes quickly for ya.......  Hugs Marsh

Hi Kelly, Sorry to hear your having flight difficulties. Do they offer any perks when things like this arise or just say...that's life? Hopefully you'll be on your way soon and will enjoy the relaxation that awaits you.

Arghhhh.... Well, better an extended layover and late arrival, than risk flying in a mechanically challenged plane or threatening weather, eh? There's ALWAYS a better perspective to be had - ESPECIALLY from those of us not stuck at an airport... 

My hubby travles alot and what you just discribed is the story of his life.  He hates flying anymore, seldom does he get a flight without problems or delays anymore.  Not much you can do but wait.  Good luck!

This is exactly why we few non-stop into Orlando and drove the 2+ hours to Palm Beach a couple weeks ago. I was scared to death of not making the connector flight and getting stuck there with 3 kids.  I'm so sorry it has been a bad travel experience.  Hope you get there soon!!! (((Hugs))) Michelle

Okay, take a deep breath, and think of the fun and sun you will have once you get there!!!!! I would rather be stuck in an airport right now then here at my desk at work!!! lol

Hey Kel - find the intercom pager and start belting out some classic tune or pull some Bart Simpson calls or something. You'll figure it out. Have fun and remember where you're headed is a lot better than here at the mosquito buffet!
