Yesterday I found out that I don't have enough padding on the ol' arse. I foolishly locked myself out of house AND car. (Dum- da-dum dum!) Anyway, while I was waiting for another one of the tenants to come home--so I could sneak in through the basement--I sat on the porch  railing.  Youch!  It did take me by surprise, 'cuz I never thought of myself to be lacking in the padding department on my bum.  In fact, any hard sitting surface causes a bum ache! BTW--I had spare house and car keys cut, and they're both in a magnetized key holder in a safe place so I don't get locked  out again!

Don't forget that we can take acetaminaphene.  I took the  one 500mg, cut in half of course and it sure helped.  The gentle stretching is a good idea too.  I do water aerobics and that is gentle also.

good luck

Sorry I dont' know what acetaminaphene is or maybe I have heard it called differently.  Please elaborate.  Thanks I have always wanted to do water aerobics.  I love the water and not so much the aerobics, but if I where to put the two together it might not be so bad.  Maybe in a couple of months here I might have to check it out.

Thanks

Sorry and oops!  It is the generic Tylenol.  Much more kind to your stomach than the ibuprophens.  Water aerobics are great, for every effort you put out, you get a 2 1/2 return for it.  There are community centers around or the YMCA (but pricey).  You just feel so good after and you still burn calories for 2 hours after the fact.

Hi Tammy, congratulations on  your fast-moving weight loss!  Goodwill also has one color tag sale Sundays and Mondays, of which every item with that color tag are 50% off Sundays, and $1.49 Mondays.  They're constantly putting out fresh stock, so don't worry about the best being immediately sold out!  I live  four blocks from a thrift store,  so had every item of clothing once shrinking out of them starting at 22Ws and 2X, so presently only have size tens, eights, and sixes depending on manufacturer.  Helpful hint:  don't pressure yourself into buying a whole wardrobe at a time, as you'll quickly shrink out of them.  Perhaps several skirts, shorts, then a variety of tops to do some mixing and matching.  Keep up the fantastic work, and enjoy the waves of  WOWs along your journey--at two years out next month, am still surprised by WOWs, althogh they're more frequent during the first year--enjoy the ride!  Hugs galore, Patti

Hi Patti, Do you know of any Goodwill near the border.  I guess I can just google it.  I will have to take a look.  When I get down to size 16 I might not have to much of a problem.  My sister is a size 16 and I will just have to steal some of her clothes for a change.

Thanks for the suggestions

Hi Izzy, sorry I am not at all familiar with that area, so I would suggest googling it.  Check  Goodwill, Savers, and Unique.  I'm not home right now, though will check the St. Paul phone book for all areas out that  direction...we'll get you set!  Will post it later after checking Google myself just in case they overlap, which I highly doubt.....later dudettte!  Hugs galore,  Patti

I haven't had my surgery yet, but just came from the Chiropractor this morning and asked him how soon after surgery he thought it would be ok for me to see him again. He said 3-4 weeks and stressed that I come to see him around that time as he said the alignment of the spine and skeletal system was very helpful in healing the body. If this is a new pain, I would try a chiropractor. Good luck, hope you feel better soon! Heidi

This is a new pain and it is constant.  I didn't have a problem with any other pain that came after the surgery, but this tops them all.  I will try and make an appointment soon here. Thanks

Good luck with the chiropractor. You know, lately I have had all kinds of aches and pains and even as extreme as a lower back pain so bad that I couldn't get out of bed or stand up straight. Like you, I couldn't sit, stand, walk or anything without back pain. One trip to the chiropractor made it all go away.  Now I go once a month for regular adjustments to keep from going back to that painful place!
