6 MO Check-up
Went in for my 6 mo check today and all the labs were great. I've lost 95% of my excess weight and 5 pounds to my ideal weight. I saw my sugeon, Dr. Leslie and he is the greatest. He takes the time to talk to me and asks me if I have questions. He asked me if I had developed any transfer addictions since my surgery. I told him no... I was a handbag and shoe ***** before surgery and still am but have expanded that to clothing because now I can always find my size. YIPEE!!!!! I can now walk directly to the misses department. Never felt better in my life.
He did stress the vitamins and calcium so everyone please remember to take yours. The complications that can arise are really horrible and sometimes can't be reversed.
He talked about rebound weight a little. He said your appetite will come back ( guess what, it never went away) and you will gain a little weight. I let out a shreak......NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I'll totally freak just like this. He laughed and said it may happen so be prepared...you'll be just fine. NOT!!!!!! Won't go back there. Hopefully I will continue to make the right choices.
