It's ALL Good!
I just got my lab results back from my 6 month check up today and everything is in the normal range! I am so excited! When I started this journey my cholesterol was 237 and now it is 137! Talk about amazing! I also got a copy of my before and 6 months out picture and WOW you can se almost twice as much of the door now! I am so happy to be healthy!
Yep I will be there on Friday, I may be a bit late depending on what class I go to or if I run after work. I am so loving the health aspect of this journey it is nice not to have to worry about if my arteries are going to clog and I will end up needing stints or bypasses done. I actually think being healthy and active are better than the cosmetic aspects of the surgery because now I am living my life.
You look fantastic Nicole and it's good to hear that your lab numbers are also showing your hard work. I read your blog about your diet adjustments too and look forward to seeing how that works out on the scale for you.
There are two main rules on my nutrition plan: no snacking and no liquid calories. As I looked at my pre-surgery eating these two rules seemed to be the biggest indicators of where I tucked in a LOT of extra calories. If I stick to three solid meals a day with meals that begin with dense protein, I think that my pouch will do the rest of the work.
