Update on Pearl.....

I just spoke with Pearl's nurse. Pearl has taken a turn for the worse. She is unable to speak. They told me she will be passing in the next day or so. I am sooooo sad....I am just beside myself. God Bless her. I pray she goes peacefuly. I know she will have a smile on her face....that was just Pearl! She is not afraid and is very much at peace. Pearl and I had the greatest conversations this weekend. We made plans to meet on Thursday. She wanted more then anything to meet Nic. That is all she talked about.She wanted to hug him and he to hug her.She was having her nurses bring her to Children's Hospital Thursday just for that reason. We were all going to have lunch together and take tons of pictures.  Pearl was so excited and was so looking forward to us being together once again. We laughed ourselves silly reminiscing about all kinds of things on Saturday. What fun we had!! I feel just awful. It is hard to believe it is happening so quickly.

I just want to  let everyone know what I have been told at this time. As soon as I hear anything more I will let you know. Prayers needed for Pearl and her family please. Love and hugs, connie d

I never met Pearl but from what I have read she is a great lady.  My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family as well as to you.  You sound like you have been exactly the person she needed in her life. Robyn

So get in your car and go see her.  You don't have to talk.  You two can just be together holding hands for a while.  You'll never regret just doing it!!!  So go change your clothes, grab your camera and hit the road!!!! I'm just so sad about this.  :*(  This world will be losing one great lady. I'm glad to know she is at peace though and I will be praying for an easy transition as she goes on to heaven to be our angel. (((Pearl))) Michelle

I have been praying for Pearl and her family. I pray she is at peace. Just sounds so much like when Joyce passed. It is certainly a sad time. And diffenently hard for the family she is leaving behind...I understand her wishes for no visitors as it is such a private time for the family and so so hard to watch.
