A horse, a hailstorm and a bra....

Hello, I am back from South Dakota with a story to tell.  I went horseback riding for the first time in my life while on vacation.  We found a ranch that did trail rides and got ourselves all set up and off we went.  Little did we know there was a storm coming.  About 20 minutes into the ride the hail started and we had to get off our horses.  Of course I didn't know how to get off of mine so I waited until the guide could come help me, she told me to swing my right leg over the horse.  Since I have lost so much weight lately and have not bought a new bra yet, my bra got caught on the saddlehorn and I was hanging off the horse trying to get undone....it was quite funny.  The hailstorm lasted for 45 minutes and we were not sheltered at all.  All in all, I'd have to say that riding another horse is not in my immediate future!!!!! Sounds like quite an experience.  It's nice making vacation memories like that when they have stories that you can smile and laugh about for a long time.  Welcome back.

Heya Robyn~ I thought this lead-in was the beginning of a joke.  As it turns out--coulda been!  The mental image of you hanging on the saddle horn by your bra---too cute!!  I hope the  experience hasn't turned you totally  off horseback riding. It's great exercise--for the horse AND the rider! Congrats on your weight loss success! You'll be needing more than a new bra! ((HUGS)) **SUE**

Too funny!  WAY too funny!!!  I hope Darla reads this...I would LOVE to see what she'll have to say about it!  I agree with Sue, you need a new bra honey! Debi

I pretty much had the thing streched as far as it would go.  Not really sure how it came off but I do know it ended up hanging around my neck.  Luckily, everyone else was more concerned about the hail than me hanging from my bra and not many noticed. Robyn

Oh My GOSH!  I am laughing so hard here.  I have never met you, but I have a mental image of you hanging from the saddle horn.  Actually, it is a mental image of me doing that, because that is SO something that I could do.   I'm glad that you had a good time, and not hurt from your experience.

Oh man, THAT is a good one!  Mainly because - well,  I've been there, done that (DAMN SADDLE HORNS!)  I'm sorry, Robyn, but I'm just cracking up here, to know I'm not the only one who has been blessed by the Grace Fairy!  LOL!!!!!   Oh and yeah, you probably need to get thee to a brassiere shop ASAP...
