GAHHHH  lol I remember having to get school clothes in the huskies...  think I would have rather been chubby...  *sigh*  Or wearing old lady clothes because nothing came in *my* size in my age group clothing... We also had to travel from Duluth to the Cities to find clothes.  School shopping was a real ordeal.

Gosh, can you even believe it?! I remember "Pretty Plus" and 'husky' like Lori, too. I will admit I like the #&letter combo now, but CANNOT wait to be a single number with NO letter! wahoo! Foster - good to see you posting BTW!

OOOhhhh my - this actually gave me the shivers....the ad is before my time, but I remember "chubbies".  It was the fear of having to wear "chubbies" that sent me to TOPS Club at the age of 9.  I avoided the chubbies but I'm not sure how much good it did for me.  Just started my "issues" with diets and going to a "fat club". It's funny how politically incorrect some of those old ads sound now! Thanks for sharing even though my husband had to listen to me rant a bit!  Once again!  My god a person's childhood can really screw with you!

Laughed so hard at this one.  I remember my aunt got re-married and went to NYC on her honeymoon and came back with some new dresses.  The size was Junior Plenty.  I laughed then and think it's still funny.  Thanks Linda! Bonnie

That's so hysterical!  I can't believe how un-PC it is.  More over...I can't believe how PC our world has gotten that this type of ad would be protested in today's world.

Thanks for sharing!
