Muscle Sculpting Gel
Anyone ever heard of it or used it?
Just wondering if it works on the batwings.

Amy~I have not heard anything about that product, however I found something similar through Mary Kay http://www.marykay.com/spabody/bodycare/10010451/10010451/de fault.aspx . My sister used to sell MK and now just orders stuff when close family and friends need it. A friend of hers tried and said it worked really well, so I am ordering some and will see how it goes. I am hoping that it will help with the bat wings most since they are most visible. ~Nicole
Well, Nicole test it out and let us know how it works.
The other thing I've heard is that post op during the beginning of your losing stage, you should wear tighter garments under your clothing as you're losing (think the active wear type shirts and pants) so it helps keep everything "compacted" for lack of better wording which helps to prevent all the sagging. I have no clue if this is tried & true and of course like everything what worked for one may not work for another.
I hope some of the vets chime in here if they have any tips short of PS.

I think exercise can help lessen the look of batwings - but from my experience and in talking to my plastic surgeon, the only thing that will truly get "rid" of excess skin is cutting it off. Depending on how heavy you are, how long you've been heavy, how old you are, how much skin damage (stretch marks) there is....and how much you can live with....will tell you if you need plastics.
I was 300#, in my early 40's, had been fat all my life, and no amount of exercise or magic creams would have taken care of my excess skin on my gut and butt. Plastic surgery cured it.
That's my thoughts. If gels and creams truly worked, the plastic surgeons would be out of business.
