Sorry, I haven't been on in awhilejust trying to adapt to this new eating lifestyle.   I have my up and down days.   I went back to work early.   Just to give myself something else to be busy with.   Some days I get so hungry and majority of the days I really could care less about eating.   Somedays I wake up and feel so nausated  Anyways, I am trying to stay busy.   I found out I don't like refried beans anymore.   That use to be one of my favorite dishes.   I was moved up to pureed.  However,  my stomach does not care for that stage too much.  So, I still do majority  soups.  That seems to be more comfortable to my tummy.   I can't stand jello anymore even the sugar free is too sweet!!!! and I have lost the taste for it.  I believe I ate it too much!!  I believe I had every flavor under the sun.   Well do anyone have any suggestion or receipes for the pureed stage.  I am so open.   Smooches

For the majority of the pureed stage I ate fat free refried beans with a little fat free sour cream and taco sauce.  It was what got me through it.  That and yogurt.  Try some of the plain yogurts if you are sensative to sweetness or the Lif & Fit Carb Control has a very low sugar count and the vanilla is super yummy.  I do hope your tummy settles down being nauseous a lot is no fun.  Glad to hear that things seem to be going well otherwise.  It will take some time to get used to the new routine and eating habits.  Keep up the good work!   ~Nicole

Hang in there.  I'm sorry to hear that you're still having a lot of nausea post-op.  I really hated being on liquids and I'm really glad that my surgery center moved me (and all post-ops) to solids after 1 week.  I can honestly say that in your shoes I would be going through the same thing that you are.  That said, I ate lots of SF pudding and cream of potato soup.  Other times I would just drink a glass of milk with broth.  You're probably able to eat things with more substance than that though.  I guess I don't have any good ideas for you, just a lot of sympathy.  Hang in there.

Here's hoping that you feel better soon!  It all does get much better!! I used to blend up cottage cheese and SF applesauce with a touch of cinnamon yogurt but the gallon  lol cream soups protein shakes frozen and blenderized into a nice frosty shake mashed potatoes pudding Hope that helps some!

Glad to "read" from you!!!!  This post has come up a few times.  I saved the link for when I was stumped -- hope you get a few more ideas from others in the past.  Gwen has a lot of good ideas.
