Ideas for a WLS Toolbag
I know my pouch is a tool and that I have to do all the work and just let it help me. But there are days when I need other tools to help me do the work. So, I am trying to create a "Toolbag" full of ideas that I can draw from for those days when the pouch just isn't enough.
Things to help me stay on track and focused and things to help me get back on track. I would appreciate it if anyone has any advice as to what they do to stay on track and to get back on track, should they fall off.
Thank you so much!
Debi
We all have those days GF!!! I walk it off with protein water. Use an iPod with motivational recordings you have made to yourself on why you don't want to go down this path. We all have our personal stories which only we will know. Those are the ones you want to remind your self of on the recording. A personal pep talk to yourself.
Or just come here for a butt kicking. I'm sure I can handle you!!! HEE HEE!!!!

Hi Debi...
I take a walk, read a book, call a friend or look at before and after pics. I also keep a journal. When I am struggling I go back and read about where I was and where I don't want to be again!! There is alot of good things to read in that journal too!! Keeps be positive and on the right track.
Love and hugs......connie d
Debi,
I haven't done it yet but am thinking about starting a scrap book of my journey. So I have something to look at when I'm battling head hunger.
I've been on & off track for 2 months now, I see my bariatric nurse next Wednesday for my 6 month check up, so I have many questions for her, Like why am I hungry? What to do with head hunger? And how to stay on track? etc.......So I can share with you what she says if your interested?
