I am not a dr and I don't even play one on TV, but it could be pancreatitis. I don't have my gallbladder and I have had pain like you have described and it turned out to be pancreatitis, with a stone blocking one of my bile ducts. Anyway, whatever it is, I hope you get it worked out.
