6/16 Today I will...
Happy Monday everyone! I hope we all have a good week and can get out to enjoy the warm, dry weather this week. Today I will...drink 100 ounces of water/liquid, eat dinner before 8:00, go to yoga (probably C2 class, but maybe sculpt I haven't decided yet), be productive at work today (still playing catch up from vacation) and enjoy the beautiful weather outside. Yesterday I....get in at least 80 ounces of water (for some reason I really struggle with this on the weekends)--I did really good I actually got in 100 ounces, make wise food choices--did good for the most part, get some exercise (perhaps a walk/run with my mom and sister)--didn't get a chance to because we spent the afternoon with my grandma and by the time I got home last night it was too late, enjoy my special day (I am 29 today)--yup I had a great day! and enjoy Father's day with my dad when he is at home (he has 2 games to ump today)--didn't get a chance to spend a whole lot time with my dad, but what time we spent together was good.
Good morning everyone.........
This weekend was tough, yesterday for Father's Day we were on the run steady.......We went to Caribou coffee then to race Go-Karts then went to a late lunch at Lone Spur grill in minnetonka/hopkins area, then off to Raceway Park to watch the races.......Not very good food choices yesterday, but today is a new day.........I wore a new black & Gold tank top yesterday, I noticed a few looks here & there.......I love shopping for clothes now.......
Today I will: FORGET YESTERDAY
Drink 60-80 oz. water
Eat 3 meals, protein 1st
Be mindfull of what I eat
Walk/jog treadmill twice
Figure out if I'm flying to Lucy's wedding with someone or by myself............
Have a wonderful day.......
Kelly
Kelly~Good for you starting fresh today instead of being upset over yesterday. I think that is a big hurdle many of us struggle to get over. It is absolutely amazing how much more fun shopping is when you are going down in sizes rather than up and when you no longer have to go to the plus size or women's sections! I hope you have a great day!
Happy Monday everyone! This week I plan to further my surgery recovery even more by trying to establish a routine that will get me through this first few post-op weeks. I already posted yesterday what I accomplished over the weekend so here are my goals for today: Today I will: drink at least 64 oz. water timed appropriately so that my pouchie doesn't protest violently, get in ALL of my vitamins and supplements now that I have them in manageable doses, eat 3 meals today no matter how small and remember to take my actigall during two of them, do my Lovenox shots, get in a couple of hours of work today, work on finding a hobby that is interesting to me now. On a side note, I have really been finding the last couple of weeks that I must have spent a *ton* of time planning meals, eating, snacking, cooking, etc. before all of this. I cannot believe how much free time that I have right now and I'm not sure what to do with all of the time.
I can totally relate to having more time, however I started back to school a month after my surgery so my classes kept me pretty well occupied, I don't know what I would have done had I not had surgery. I find that yoga and running/walking are great hobbies and help to get me in shape as well. I think that it is great you are getting yourself in a routine now while you are at home and have the time to do so. I hope you are able to find a fun hobby to fill up all that free time! ~Nicole
Today I WILL:
- eat right
- drink right
- vitamins
- walk
IN OTHER WORDS GO BACK TO BASICS!!!
Yesterday I:
- keep moving and smiling!
Managed to do this until about 2 hours before closing. At that time most folks had wandered home and it was just us faire folk. So many of us flopped down and just relaxed on the grass. I had forgotten how good cold scratchy grass could feel! lol It was easy to smile though and was a wonderful weekend!
- drink more water and not dehydrate
ehh.... Today is a new day.. :)
- eat the right foods so I don't get sick I didn't get sick but I could have made better choices. Today is a new day and started out with an egg and cheese/bacon bit scramble. Far better than the eternal protein bars! lol
