Good Morning one and all!!!!

Lets hope day two of no rain.

Yesterday was a great day!!!! Not to bad at work, My main boss....who has only commented once on what I was wearing or how I looked, told me I looked very nice today!!!!! the weather was good... didn't eat anything that made me sick....had a date.... , and yes it was with Jerry!!!

My goals for today!!!!!

1.WATER, WATER, WATER.

2. Journal

3.Walk

4. Mindful eating

5. Be good to myself

Yesterday I:

1. WATER
did better at this, but have to try harder.

2. mindful eating....start journal.
Did so so at this....I ate some of what I probably shouldn't of ate... however, and this is a big one... when pouchie said...your fine... I stopped. Didn't get sick at all today.. no tummy upset, now foamies, nothing....

3. walk
Need to work on this a little more

4. be good to myself.
Getting better at this one... I am learning to pamper myself a little...for the first time in my life I am keeping legs and underarms mowed. I wear earrings almost everyday, I am looking at and thinking about cute undie things....

5. not call Jerry.
I did good at this one....sort of... I didn't call him.....HE CALLED ME!!!!!!!! We met for coffee, and talked, and talked, and TALKED. And guess what!!!!!!! I asked him how he felt about formal get togethers....(thinking about Gala in November) I had to explain it, and he said ya, he's open to most anything, depending on what is going on with his kids....which I can respect. This told me a lot... I think we are both looking at this as a very possible relationship. We have to go slow because both of us work a lot, and have other obligations, and things going on in our lives. But I like the idea that he is looking long term also....sorry for going on about this, but this guy has really made an impression on me.

Hope everyone has a great day, and a great weekend, I am looking forward to Coffee on Saturday...all the good things in my life right now have to do with coffee...coffee groups, my wonderful new wls friends, and Jerry...go me!!!!

I am not short... I am fun sized!!

Diane~Congrats on finding a good guy!  I hope that things continue to go well for you.  I too am hoping for day 2 of no rain!  I would love to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather! Today I will...get in 100 ounces of water, not snack after dinner, concentrate on my food while I am eating and not get so distracted, decide what to do with my hair (debating light body wave and/or cut), get in some exercise (not sure what depends on if I get my hair done tonight), pack up food to bring with up to Hinckley tomorrow, and spend some time in prayer.  Yesterday I...get back into my routine!--yup and boy did it feel good,  drink at least 80 ounces of liquid--I drank almost 100!, not snack at night--nope fell into the same trap that keeps getting (I hate the nighttime munchies), no grazing--did good except for last night, go to my 6 month check up--yup everything is looking good I just need to get in and get my labs drawn now, go to yoga--yep and it felt great I took a C2 (more advanced) level class and was told by the teacher after that I "looked like you really enjoyed yourself it looked like second nature" what a compliment!, prep and cook food for the next week--yup cooked up 2 chicken breasts, cut up & bagged & froze a bunch of veggies, made some extra quinoa, and start organizing living room--nope cooking took a bit longer than expected and after all of that I was ready to relaxe!

Good morning!  This weekend will be hit or miss and probably more miss as I work 18+ hours a day at the Ren Faire stuff.

Nicole!  Great to see you back!  you were really missed girlfriend!!  Diane!  great news about Jerry  :)  I'm thrilled for you!!

OK here we go! Today I WILL: - drink lots of water - eat mindfully and not graze nor snack - walk - enjoy being around like minded folks - thrill to the sound of the medieval music  :)  There is an international band at the faire again this year and they stay in our camper...  they are out of this world good and so very friendly  :) Yesterday I: - water     I drank a bunch but not enough as I was running around working on faire stuff and trying to find the 2 coonhounds that got loose. - food     I did terrible.  I had a protein bar for breakfast - cheesey poofs for a snack- 2 pieces of fried cod, a couple of forkfuls of cole slaw and 1 ring and a couple of fries for dinner. *gag*  - exercise     didn't get a walk in nor the bowflex but did a bit of walking aorund as I helped where I could setting up the faire - relaxation     I stayed home when Roger went over fo the last trip to the faire.  I just couldn't go anymore and went to bed.  Probably a byproduct of all that fried food in my system.
Lori  - bringing home *MY* form of sexy one day at a time!

Lori~Thanks it is good to get back, I loved the warm sunshine, but am happy to be back where I can have more control over my food!  Sounds like you will be super busy with the RenFaire this weekend, just a little tip to help you eat better during the weekend is to pack a couple of protien bars, maybe some nuts w/dried fruit and lots of water to bring with you.  This way you have a healthy snack available and you won't be ravenous when you do get a chance to eat.  Also maybe identify a couple of places ahead of time that have good food options and make a list to keep handy so that when you are all frazzeled and hectic this weekend you can pull out the list and say "oh, yeah that is what I can go eat".  I was really hoping to make it up there for the weekend, but I need to spend some time with my Grandma and she just isn't up to walking around that much.  I do hope everything goes smoothly and if you get a chance to post some pics I would love to see your costume(s).  Love & hugs! I totally bommed on water yesterday. i drink it everyday, but yesterday i don't think i had one ounce. Although i did eat some popsicles. Can't believe i have been at it for 6 months, and then water just slipped my mind for the day. Guess I should keep my self a journal.

We all have days where we get busy and forget to drink our water.  One day shouldn't hurt you, just make sure to get it all in today!

Kelly~In my opinion your food schedule looks pretty good just a few suggestions.  The first is something I learned in the nutrition program and that is to make sure you eat breakfast within 1 hour of waking.   We do this because it revs up our metabolism and helps to wake up our mind and body.  The second is just a suggestion that instead of having beer battered fish try grilling, broiling or baking some unbreaded fish seasoned with herbs and lemon.  Other than those two suggestions it looks good to me.  I do hope that you are able to get to where you want to be.  You are working really hard to make the most of your tool.  Keep up the good work.  ~Nicole
