Starting Curves tomorrow...
I haven't been exercising much and I know it'll boost my weight loss... so I stopped into the Curves in Wayzata today and signed up.
I am trying it free for a week and tomorrow morning I am coming in for an assessment.
I am excited even though the routine looks kind of goofy...nothing fancy..... but I guess fancy is not really what I am looking for right now. I just need to START moving again and KEEP moving.

Curves is an excellent way to get moving....I did it for a couple of months in Shakopee... had to give it up due to money, however, I did lose inches....It does work, and it is not overly strenuous, if you do the smart thing.(I'm sure they explained this to you.) It'll assess your progress, and adjust the machines accordingly to you. So as you get stronger and more toned, the machine will adjust with you. I really wish I could have kept doing it.
Good luck and go you!!!!!
Good luck and go you!!!!!
I went to Curves faithfully the first year after surgery, and it helped with toning and just getting into the habit of exercising. It did get repetative, but I just made myself keep doing it. It was a great way to set good habits, and I lost a lot more quickly because I was moving my body. I'm now below goal, and am still exercising. Good luck!
