OHHH I feel for you and puppy... I know I call my cat my 4th child!!!! She was sick about 3-4 months ago, thought I was going to lose her... it about killed me. Now we moved, and she's much better. Still not herself, don't think I will ever get my old VICTORIA SECRETS a.ka. Tori back. Good luck, I hope everything comes out okay.

I am not short... I am fun sized!!

We lost our cat of 12 years about two years ago, his photo is in my profile.  We were heartbroken for awhile but got a new kitten about a year later and she's a hoot!  My hubby just cut the grass and said he noticed some toadstools disturbed in the back yard, we are wondering if maybe she tried eating one.  I guess all this rain caused them to pop up.  We noticed that one of her back legs has a bit of a tremor when she's sleeping tonight, I will have to ask the Dr about that and the toadstools and Lymes tomorrow.   Thanks and I hope your kitty continues to get back to her old self soon.

Aw, Doodlebug, I'm so sorry you're poochie is not feeling well!

She wouldn't have Lyme's disease would she? It almost sounds like symptoms my coworker had that got infected with that and although I know that was a human, it is tick season. I hope she feels better soon and returns to her 'ol spirited self!!!

I would hope not, we haven't found any ticks on her and she is current on all her shots including Lymes.  I also have her on monthly flea and tick repellent which I started in May.  I will ask the Dr when I talk to him tomorrow.  I just gave her more anti nausea med then she drank a little but wouldn't eat.

Poor Millie, I hope she feels better today.  She sure is a little trooper.  I will email you later and see how she is doing.  In the mean time I have said a little prayer for her.

Thanks Jean I e-mailed you back and posted an update here.  She's a fighter but it's not looking good at this time.

Thanks Linda she was perkier today but nowhere near normal.  I took her back to the Dr and they ran tests and did xray, I posted and update.

Hi - I know just how you feel.  I took my pup (Max, a 7-yr old weiner dog) to the vet tonight too. I was scared, he was in such pain and acted weird. Seems it may be a back pain, and he has meds now and needs "rest" (yeah, right!).  Anyway, I got an answer, unlike you.  That is the hardest!  Back in 2005, a week or two after his vaccines, he stopped eating and was so lethargic and sick. He ended up with Auto-Immune Disease, but he was treated and came through it. It was pretty serious though. I don't know if that might be something you will have to ask about if she is not better in a few days.  I hated to bring it up, but I have found other people whose pets had this after vaccines or bug bites, so I felt I should mention it.  I am thinking of you and you sweet pup.  Take care  and hope to hear a happy update soon!  Marla
