Most people here know I'm a country music fan. I find it INSANELY DISTURBING that K102 has been playing a new song called "Come On Over" - by none other than Jessica Simpson. WTF??? It gets worse. I actually kind of LIKE the dang song.

I listen to that station on occassion as well and fully support your statement that some people just shouldn't go country! Jewel, Hootie from Hootie & the Blowfish and now Jessica Simpson...who is next Brittney Spears....yikes now there is a scarey thought!

Not only has Jewel gone country, but she is going to be on that new reality TV show looking specifically for Country singers...does she REALLY have enough country experience to do that? I THINK NOT! I'm not a huge country fan, but I somehow seem to know a TON of country songs - mostly from doing Karoke....

I don't care for Jewel, I don't mind Darius (Hootie)... BUT IF BRITNEY SPEARS RECORDS A COUNTRY SONG AND GETS AIRPLAY ON K102 BEYOND ONE NOVELTY SPIN, I .... I - oh man, I may have to move permanently on to 104 or 108 or even 102.9, ANYTHING but a country station that would play Britney!
