updates on me - I rank with supermodels!

First the good news.  I went to neurologist today to find out why I'm having numbness in my lower legs, predominantly the left leg.  he said the problem I am having is common in super models!  Not enough fat anymore around the nerve that is located behind the knee, so when I cross my legs, it irritates the nerve and causes it to go numb.  So, yay, I'm like a super model!!!!!!  to fix?  Quit crossing my legs.   As for the pain/discomfort in my midsection:  Actually my neuro appt was in same building as Dr. Baker's office, so I just stopped in there to leave a message, and what do know?  He was sitting at the front desk when I walked in, so I got to talk to him directly about the symptoms ( I've never had a problem with getting to talk to him on the phone, just wasn't expecting that he would have time to chat with me right then).  Anyway, I get to go on a 4 day liquid diet!  WOOHOO!!!!!  Gotta eliminate the obvious posibilities, irritated pouchy from eating too fast or not chewing well enough or whatever.  If, after 4 days, I return to solids and still have probs, then I am to call and he would probably then do a scope.  I don't want to be scoped, so I just know this 4 day liquids is going to cure me.  The power of positive thinking! By the way, I do love my RNY!  This has been the best thing I have ever done for myself.  Even with these minor issues, I still feel better than I have in a very long time.  And these minor issues have turned out to be nothing to worry about.  Just my body adjusting.  As of this week, I have lost 100lbs since I got back into the WLS process last summer.  Just 17/18 more to lose to get to 100lbs lost since surgery.  My body truely is a wonderland!

Thanks Connie!  I just know the 4 day LD will get me back on track and no further tests will be needed.   I suppose I should update my ticker.  And get some new pics up.

Thank you!  I keep having wierd things happen, but they turn out to be nothing.  So, this will go that way too.  I'm such a wimp, only on the first day, and already whining about not getting to eat.
