New Here - researching revision

I had a RNY 7/01.  Highest weight was 362 and I was down to 220.  I have had no complications (dumping, etc.)....just minor vitamin deficiencies (need to take B-12 and iron).  I am currently 253 and am looking into the possibility (pros and cons) of a revision, especially interested in the option of the DS.  Are there any MN revisions from RNY to DS and any advice on where to start the search for info and a surgeon?  Thanks.

Have you checked the DS board??? How about the revisions board??? Have you tried the Main board?? There are people on here that have had DS or are going to be having it. I hope you get the answers you are looking for. connie d

Call Dr. Buchwald's office and get an appointment to see him, that is your best route for a revision to the DS! Good luck.

I am about 10 weeks out from lap band to DS revision surgery.   Dr. Buchwald from the UofM did my surgery.  I am thrilled that I did the revision surgery.  The weight seems to come off slower with revision surgery (or so I have been reading), but I am down 40 lbs so far.  Dr. Buchwald is wonderful and knows what he is doing!
