Hang in there.  I'm on Day 20 of my LD and I'm going to be honest - I didn't always follow it and I feel really guilty about it at times, but when I do a reality check I followed it over 90% of the time and I've lost almost 30 pounds in these 20 days.  So, it is worth it.  I would say that you absolutely need to find things with different tastes.  I can PROMISE that I will never again drink a chocolate meal replacement drink or have cream of potato soup.  I actually ended up just going to a straight clear liquid diet today (and tomorrow) because I just can't stand the thought of anything else.  So, if I could go back, I would find a variety of tastes so that I didn't get sick of things so fast.  Like others said - keep very busy.  My house is SUPER clean.  Ask your family not to eat in front of you.  And keep SF popsicles around - I actually don't really care for the taste (I think they're too watered down tasting), but you can CHEW them and chewing makes all of the difference!  Also, I don't recommend breaking the LD if you can help it.  In addition to the guilty feelings, I got super sick every time.  Your body adjusts quickly to not eating such rich foods.  No matter what anyone says, you will probably stay hungry and feel the hunger throughout the liquid diet (I did), but you get used to the feeling and learn to live with it.  Like right now, I can tell you that I am SO very hungry, but I don't care and don't need to eat.  The learning to live with the hunger part comes around Day 3 or 4 as people mentioned. Good luck and keep the end in mind like you're doing.  You'll get through this - I know because if I can do it, anyone can (I'm sure everyone says that, but it's true).  Keep us posted on how it's going - I'd say that you can PM me (and you can) but I'm not sure how much I'll be available the next few days due to my SURGERY!  YAY!
