I initially had gone to the Mayo to check into the Lap Band- but they  said no to that-  not too many success stories.  Most gain it back again, so that was not an option for me unless I went elsewhere.  They told me I'd be a good candidate for RNY.  Now, lets see what the surgeon and insurance company say.
