I'm back but still not the best

After my posting on Thursday I called the on call doctor and he thought I should go in just in case.  My husband was not home of course so my neighbor drove me to Southdale ER.  I ended up being admitted for the night and didn't get out until around 6 last night.  I'm so $#@^ tired it's not even funny.  I had to share a room this time and by the time I got up to the floor it was almost 2 and my neighbor was still awake with lights on and TV blaring....frustrating. Anyway, they did a ton of blood tests and a CT scan ( I hate the crap you have to drink), and everything was normal.  Dr came up the next morning and didn't really have any answers either.  Mostly thought it was some sort of skeletal muscular thing (don't ask me what that is though).  He put me back on the Vicodan and told me to rest.  So, that's what I am doing.  My biggest decision now is whether to go back to work on Monday again.  He didn't say I couldn't but my friends and family seem to think I should not go back.  What do you guys think? Oh man!  I am sorry to hear about this.   What kind of work do you do? I'd say see how you are Sunday night and if you have the type of job that is not too demanding physically, I'd give it a shot.  Just my thoughts.   Take care and keep us posted!

I'm with Lisa.  If you feel good Sunday night and have a job where you can sit and relax, rather than up and around all the time, I'd go.  But the decision can only be yours.  You are the only one who knows how you feel and can judge it. Take care, Debi

Unless you absolutely HAVE to go back on Monday, I'd stay home and rest up.  Besides you might be a bit whacky taking Vicodin.  I took 6 weeks off (because I could) and know how tired I got at times.  You did have major surgery only a few weeks ago. Seeing how exhausted you are now - I'd take at least a few more days to make sure you're at 100%.  The Dr did say to rest. Just my opinion.  Hope you feel better soon!
