No I didn't talk to the nurse.  I was sending emails to the nutritionist and she suggested I keep a log of what I am eating and send this to her and then she could help with suggestions. Yeah  I had to reschedule my next follow up appt because the Dr had a change in his schedule only problem was the soonest I could see him was Aug 14, so I made one with just one of the nurses next month.  So  I will just try to remember to write down everything I eat so when I go in weighing 300 lbs they can see why.    I might try the cottage cheese test,  this morning I had one of those instant oatmeal packets the weight reduction brands and I was still so hungry after I ate it.   I just don't think something is right.   Now I am tempting to find something to control my appetite DebS

Glad to hear you are going to see the nurse next month.  And tracking your food is a great idea.  Along with measuring everything, you become more conscious of where and what your triggers are. For the oatmeal thing, if it doesn't fill  you, try to find something else that will.  Maybe you eat meat and cheese for breakfast so you are full.  You don't have to eat breakfast food only for breakfast.  I've had oatmeal for dinner and beef sticks for breakfast.  Plus the higher numbered, denser food will last longer -- at least until your next snack time or meal time.   Keep marching forward ~~~ and remember, we are all marching side by side in this battle against weight.  We are here for you, just as you are here for us!!! Park Nicollet has group this coming Tuesday at 6:00 on the 3rd floor.  Try coming to get additional suggestions and support -- we'd love to see you. XXOO

I would feel weird going to Park Nicollet since they didn't do my surgery, I don't stop working before 6 pm For the last 2 days I have had about 1280 calories, Thursday was only 28 g of protein though and Friday I got it up to 59 g plus 64 ounces of water   but was still hungry most of the time.  This is where I am stuck how do you make it go away.  How many calories should we be eating.
