OT: Tornado blew away her house

The tornado that blew through Hugo a couple weeks ago - blew away a friend of mine's sister's house - she lost everything.  She, her husband and young daughter are now staying at my friends.  (see my profile for a picture of her house - amazing they are alive)

Here's where you can help - Nora wears a 18/20ish size - so if you have any casual (she's in her early 30's) (jeans, shirts, khaki's, shorts etc) that you have shrunk out of - if you would like to donate them to her - please PM me or post and i will arrange getting them and getting them to her.

Hey Linda - good to see you on the boards! I am so sorry to hear about your friends family, that is so devastating - the picture is just unbelievable! I wish I had clothes to share but I still need all mine yet. Do they have a fund set up though? I'd be willing to donate cash to help them. Best wishes.

HOLY COW!!!!   I can't help with the clothing as I don't have any that size anymore...but does she need anything else we could help with?  I'm sure many others on the board would like to help too.  Even if it's food, cash, gift cards?

Hi ....I am so sorry to hear about this tragedy. I will look through my clothes this weekend. My larger clothes are in totes in the garage. If I find somethings I will let you know. Prayers and hugs are on the way. connie d

thank you all for the offers of financial support - I talked with my friend and she said they wouldn't be comfortable accepting cash/gift card donations - i didn't post it for that - but thank you for your generosity. I believe there is a fund setup for the hugo tornado in general.
