Surgery Date

I have mostly been lurking here but attending PNC support group and I got my surgery date July 8, 2008. I will most likely come home on my daughter's first birthday. Best gift I could give her :), myself and my family. I can't wait to be a new me, the me I was meant to be.

WHOOOO HOOOO -- Your 4th of July fireworks will begin a few days later too!!!! Congrats on getting a date ~~ and sooooo close too. Just keep imagining what your daghter's Christmas pictures are going to be like this year......Fun!!!! And next summer when she's really gonna want to play at the playground, think of all the things you can do with her!!! WOW -- so much to look forward to. Doing the happy dance for you (plus it's exercise to dance)....

CONGRATS!!! This is a wonderful gift to YOURSELF as well! Yeah, I get doing it for our kids, they were one of my top reasons for having WLS. But I think as we lose weight, we begin to realize that WE still exist! We enjoy the benefits of losing weight, and making ourselves a priority! So often we don't feel like we deserve much, so we put our focus on everyone else. Now it's YOUR turn! Don't be a stranger, this is a great bunch of peeps!
