A WLS friendly cake

If you had to order a cake and needed it to be "WLS friendly", what would you request of the baker?

Low sugar or Splenda substitue?

Wheat flour vs. white flour?

Natural applesauce vs. shortening? SF frosting? HELP! Thanks all!

My fav WLS friendly cake is Angel Food.  Nothing special, just Angel Food.  Then I use SF cool whip with SF pudding mixed into it for frosting.  Garnish with fruit.  Yummeeeee!

I noticed at the grocery store the other day that they now make lower sugar cake mixes and frostings.  I didn't look at the nut info, but it might be worth looking into.  I think they were Pillsbury.....
