How is your journey going??  Are you fighting the good fight and marching on through the good and bad? Remember staying in formation and battling through the ups and downs are what makes us stronger and steady on the path to goal. So..... HI !!  See you all very soon !!!!!!!!!    Watch out BV Coffee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    PS Barb and I had coffee today then went shopping at Target... we found the best snacks!   True North I believe..maybe Barb can chime in if I have the name wrong, but way better choice than traditional snacks. Hugs!

Hi LA, Today I'm 5 months out.......And I am fighting the good fight, and marching on. I kicked myself in the butt this morning, once again......... I finally got on my treadmill again, two times today. And have been very careful of what I've been eating. Protein first...........I love fruit so much I started having it for my meal. No one said this journey would be easy.........It's damn hard.......I take it one day at a time right now.  I still want to lose 20 pounds, that would put me at 130 pounds. But we'll see what the body decides.......... What is this True North? What kind of snack? Kelly

hey you- I am marching on-we started a walking olympics here at work, so I am working the pedometer thing and trying to walk more everyday-some days are better than others., the cold gray rain stuff has me bumming cause I don't walk as much when I can't spin around the hospital grounds.  Still fighting with the soda demon-every once in a while I still succumb to the diet dew-it is evil.  True North?  I will have to look for that-I have found a brand of pork skin chips that I really like-they come in a smoke flaver and a nacho flavor-and each serving is 10 grams of protein.  they are crunchy and filling, and not too bad for calories, either.  They sell them at the general store in PNC/Meadowbrook, 99 cents a bag (4 servings/bag)  yum. Hope to see ya at BV coffee! !~lynn

Hello Linda....how wonderful to see you...wooohoooo!! I miss your smiling face!

I will have to check out the True North snack items....I don't often snack but now and then I like a little something. I am doing okay. Been a hard week after being gone so long. I missed so much. I was just too exhausted to go anywhere this weekend. Sounds like there was plenty happening too. I am doing well....still marching forward. Like I said to Troy, this maintaing is even harder then the losing.....in my opinion. Hope to see you soon. What is BV????   Love and hugs sweetie.....connie d

It is True North --- and they are sooooooooooo good.  I bought one of the peanut ones (I think peanut and cashew?) that Linda hadn't tried either -- I left the bag at my daughters cause I could have eaten the whole damn thing!!!  I still have a bag of peanut crunches with toasted sesame but won't open for a day or two.  Had my snack for the day!!!

The peanut crunches with toasted sesame per serving (1/4 cup) is 160 calories, 10 g fat, 11 carbs, but 6 g protein.  The other one was about the same, 100% natural, no preservatives, no artificial flavors and no added colors!!!  WOW -- good and healthy !!!! Had a blast at coffee today -- doing it again soon!!! Marching forward!!!!

Hey there! Doing great here...working towards approval for surgery. I am so excited to get through this and on my way to the "other side". I had approval two years ago, but needed more time to think. I chickened out! Well, at my highest weight ever, I am not turning back. Hope to meet you sometime at BV coffee. I live in Burnsville!
